WILD ALCHEMISTS - LIVING SCULPTURES OF NATURE

A collection of dresses created as a series of living sculptures of nature,
formed from fabric, plants and a feminine presence.

Each dress was created through an alchemical process.
The plants dyed the fabric, leaving their unique mark on it -
guided by the artist's hands, in an attentive dialogue with nature, time and matter.
Leaf, stem, colour have not been reproduced -.
were invited to sign up themselves.

The second stage was like the work of a sculptor.
The cut was not created with a single gesture,
but a series of quiet, precise decisions -
Like a chisel guided over stone,
making as few movements as possible,
and at the same time exactly the right ones.

The fabric was laid out like this,
so that the trace of the plants can be revealed,
for a composition to emerge from the relationship between the recording of nature
and the form that sustains it.

Natural stone jewellery is a moving piece.
It can hang from the neckline.
It can wrap around the neck.
It can be detached.
Like the changing gesture of a chisel.
Like an intention that is arranged differently every day.

Each of the six dresses is a single, unique creation.
There is not and will not be another one like it.
These are sculptures that do not freeze -
Because the fabric breathes, the plants live,
and the female body brings the form to life.

It is an art that moves with you.
It is nature - carved into fabric and left alive.
