There is no better, faster and more effective way to relieve stress than laughter, which is always at hand. We are born with the ability to laugh. Laughter is always available, it belongs to us, we don't have to learn it.
The benefits of laughter are vast and varied and cover all aspects of our health, relationships and life. Laughter instantly relieves stress, boosts immunity by stimulating the immune system, abolishes pain, fights disease, oxygenates, improves circulation and massages all the organs of our body. It is the fastest way to raise energy levels and improve wellbeing whenever we need it.
On the mental side, it releases emotions, raises self-esteem, self-confidence, awakens optimism, improves our communication skills and supports our ability to cope with any situation in life.
Laughter increases creativity, concentration, the ability to learn quickly, openness to new and changing situations and conditions, motivation and productivity increase, tension and stress decrease, we look for solutions instead of worrying.
To achieve the benefits of laughter you need to laugh continuously, loudly, long and deeply ( from the diaphragm) for at least 10-20 minutes. In our daily lives, we rarely have the opportunity or the mood to do this.
In order to make laughter independent of circumstances, mood or stimulants, laughter yoga - a combination of laughter exercises and breathing - was created. Scientists have discovered that the human brain does not distinguish between artificially induced laughter and natural laughter. The benefits are the same. Laughter induced in a group through the action of mirror neurons leads to long and deep natural laughter and causes an immediate sense of connection with the laughing companions. We simply choose to laugh and that is enough.
Part of the philosophy of laughter yoga is to consciously inspire a more harmonious, healthy and joyful life. When you choose to laugh you become better and happier and because of this the world becomes better and happier. A sense of lightness and joy returns, an acceptance of yourself and the world, a sense of power to deal with reality.
